Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has Snapdragon 625 which is nearly a year old processor but this year Xiaomi is bringing something new. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will be launched in two variants the lower variant with Snapdragon 630 and the higher variant with Snapdragon 636. Snapdragon 630 and 636 are the latest smartphones of mid-range from Snapdragon and provides 20-30% better performance than Snapdragon 626. Unlike Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will be launched in only 2 variants: one with 3GB RAM + 32 GB internal storage and the higher variant with 4GB RAM + 64 GB internal storage. The graphic would be Adreno 506 and there is no real data about improvement in graphic performance or version.
Like Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will also have a full metal body which would be available in 4 colour variants. One will be Blue which is a new colour series from Xiaomi. Others are black, silver and gold. This time they have introduced blue colour so it would be interesting to see how it would look in hand. Also there are rumours of it having a rose colour variant in place of silver variant.

In terms of battery we can except to have a vast improvement as it would contain more juice. In Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 there was a 4000 mAh battery which was really amazing and long lasting but it didn’t had a fast charging facility. In the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 we would be getting 4400 mAh or slightly less than this value battery. It will obviously support Qualcomm quick charging facility. It would charge your 4000 mAh battery in 1 and a half hour. It’s really quick.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 had a single camera of 13 MP and a 5 MP front camera. Unlike Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will have dual camera setup at rear and at front it will have an 8 MP camera. The rear dual camera will be a 16 MP + 5 MP setup. There would be no telephoto lens like mi a1 in Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 but according to our sources it will be having one regular rgb sensor and other depth sensor. It would be giving really good shots as Xiaomi has always been conscious about their Camera performance and result.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 had a 1920×1080 5.5 inch full HD screen. I had a 16:9 display. Now Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will have an 18:9 display which will be full HD+ display. It would have highly vibrant screen colours and nearly 403 pixels per inch.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will be launched at the end of February 2018 so wait for it if you are looking to buy a new smartphone.
